So, yes, yesterday went WONDERFULLY..... Today... Not so much.
Lil' Dude is sporting bilateral ear infections (NOT awesome the week before surgery to put tubes in the ears). So, we ran to, waited at, and wandered around the Dr's office all morning. After that,we were off to BW for a friend's change of command ceremony, which we totally missed, so we went to lunch with everyone instead.
It REALLY sucked missing that ceremony, because it was actually someone I care about A LOT. And she was sweet enough to mention us in her speech even! I have never been mentioned in anyone's speech, unless it was a professional courtesy - and i MISSED it! UGH! Woe is me!
After that, had to battle the German Apotheke to get dude's prescription filled - - and then it was time to pick up sis. Right about this time - the truck that had been running over me for the past two weeks decided to make a U turn, and i got SLAMMEd with some kind of nasty head cold. not awesome. It's so bad, i had the german pharmacist give me something - it's herbal, it worked for a short time, but man, this sucks. it better leave faster than the last one - i can't afford another 2 weeks down - it was SO awesome waking up to a scale drop today - i need that way more often :).
Ah well, that's life. we roll with the punches, right?
